Kalabhavan Mani is going to play the title character in the movie 'Bada Bhai'. The movie is based on the fictional story about a keralite who fought against the communal forces during the recent riots in Gujarat.

The movie will also deal with the problems that arise when such a figure comes back to his homeland.

Directed by debutante Shyam, the movie will be scripted by Shah Korani and Hameed. Produced in the banner of Kalyani films by K Mohammed, the movie will also feature Suraj Venjaarmoodu, Salimkumar, Riyaz Khan, Rajan P Dev, Mala Aravindhan, Indrans, Mamukoya, Machan Varghese, Augustine, Bijukuttan and Jaffer Idukky.

The pooja of the movie was held at cochin tower last week.
